R1 (Reporter 1): Thomas Gottschalk meets Tokio Hotel and talks with them. That’s exciting. Between the most successful German show master and the most successful German Teeny-band are some differences in age and also in experience with showbiz. Nevertheless, Thomas said at the beginning of this memorable conversation: “Crazy people like us should be kept together” How he meant this and what else came out whit it, like women, success, school and career, knows … (The other Reporter).
R2: The twins Bill and Tom and their band-colleagues Georg and Gustav think the meeting with Thomas Gottschalk is really cool. For his teeny-guests, Thomas had bought himself some suitable casual clothing.
TG (Thomas Gottschalk): …had a number one hit — you don’t have one now, but everyone under sixty is a fan of yours — and we are a bit worried.
R2: First topic; love.
TG: When thousands of girls scream when they see you, than the logical consequence is that thousands of boys hate you, because they want the girls to scream for them, isn’t it?
Tom: Sometimes people address us on the street, in our free time, and also boys come to ask us; “Would you give me an autograph for my girlfriend” or something like that. That also happens.
R2: However, all the band-members are single. It’s hard to imagine that when you see the enormous hysterics at a gala in the weekend in … (German place)
TG: I had heard that you would be nicer than people think and you’re even nicer than Í thought you would be, so I don’t have any second thoughts.
R2: And at last he promises his teeny-guests;
TG: Whenever you think you won’t make it or anything, you can call uncle Thomas.
R2: And who knows; maybe they’ll do a show together sometimes?
TG: Together we’ll be successful sometimes…
Bill: You wanted to dance in a cage, didn’t you? (Everybody laughs)
Georg: Dancing a bit in a cage or with a bar, you’ve said that!
R2: Thomas Gottschalk as bar-dancer? I bet he won’t do that.
