TOKIO HOTEL ON FORMULA 1?

The boss of Formula 1, Bernie Ecclestone, has signed a deal with Universal Records for some of their most famous bands (U2, Take That or the Pussycat Dolls) acting in different circuits around the world.

According to the British newspaper 'The Sun', responsible for Universal Records have signed an agreement with the organizers of the Formula 1 races this summer so that they include live performances of some of its more famous bands.

Under the name 'F1 Rocks', this series of concerts will be held in parallel with the races in the Formula 1 championship to be held this summer across the globe. The same information will also participate in the events "of the stars of world cinema, sports and fashion."

Lucian Grainger, president of Universal Records believes that "the combination of music megastars and motor sport will create a completely innovative and groundbreaking concept of entertainment." Among the bands that could be said to participate in this concert series are U2, Take That, the Pussycat Dolls or Girls Aloud.

For its part, the boss of Formula 1, Bernie Ecclestone, has been declared by the enthusiastic agreement with Universal Records. "I've always said that we are in the entertainment business and this agreement marks a new dimension to Formula 1. I have high expectations for him," he added.
