Hamburg. (dpa). – The new disc of the German group Tokio Hotel is taking form: After solving the differences of opinion between the members of the band, they’ve finally chosen the songs that will make up the new CD. “Bill Kaulitz made a final list of songs for the disc Humanoid”, producer and manager David Jost told dpa. As it stands, 13 songs will be contained in the CD, which will go on sale in October. Nevertheless, the musicians had composed more than 25 songs.
Singer Bill and his twin brother 19-year-old Tom Kaulitz, had different favorites, he revealed. “We have worked almost one year on this album”, said Jost. And Bill Kaulitz added: “We’ve never dedicated so much time to an album”.
The manager made sure that now the production is finished, and they only need to mix the album. In addition to the brothers Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel includes drummer 20-year-old Gustav Schäfer, and bassist 22-year-old Georg Listing.
On this third disc, the group wanted to choose a title that was the same in the whole world. The first two discs of the young band were translated for English markets from German. This way, the first one of them, in 2005, appeared with the title Scream instead of Schrei as in Germany, and second one, which went on sale in 2007, was given the title of Room 483 instead of Zimmer 483. Tokio Hotel has turned in little time to one of the more successful groups in Germany and leads the lists of sales in several countries. dpa ba/rg eb
