In preparation for the release of their third album, the group Tokio Hotel will offer in the coming days a new single called Automatic. It will be the first song off the album Humanoid.
Indeed, as the working title was Reset, the manager of the band, David Jost, has recently told the German press that Bill Kaulitz wished to have one universal word that would be understood at the same time by their European and American fans…

Tokio Hotel was formed in 2001 by four German teenagers from 16 to 19 years old. Rather quickly, the shows they gave in the local clubs caused a buzz and the group was spotted.

Aided by a team of producers and lyricists who have collaborated with Doors, Mötley Crüe and Faith Hill, their first album Schrei (Scream) shot directly up the charts. Four hit singles also garnered them success in Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe.

The gothic-androgynous world of the group caused an unsurpassed hysteria in Germany. With his highlighted big hairstyle, the black clothes and his extreme make-up, Bill, the singer, is reminiscent of Brian Molko. The topics which he approaches are often very dark: divorce, disappointment in love, loneliness, rock delivered by the quartet is rather classic but undoubtedly works. The music and a real charisma have allowed them to gather a broad fan base, composed mostly of girls
